On the occasion of Independence Day, the Neuroaid and Research Foundation (NRF) proudly organized a Physiotherapy Awareness Session at Chilla Sports Complex. The event combined the spirit of national pride with the mission of spreading knowledge about health, mobility, and the importance of physiotherapy in leading an independent life.
The awareness drive was led by Dr Nidhi and Dr Abhilasha, who shared their expertise on various aspects of physiotherapy. The session highlighted:
- The vital role of physiotherapy in preventing and managing lifestyle-related disorders.
- The importance of early intervention in conditions like back pain, knee arthritis, and postural issues.
- Practical tips for fitness, injury prevention, and maintaining musculoskeletal health.
- Demonstrations on simple exercises and ergonomics to encourage active and healthy living.
The audience, which included community members, sports enthusiasts, and families visiting the complex, actively participated in the interactive session. Many attendees came forward with their queries and received guidance tailored to their needs.
The event was not only a platform for spreading awareness but also a reminder that true independence includes freedom from pain, disability, and limitations in movement. The initiative was greatly appreciated by the participants, who acknowledged the importance of physiotherapy in improving quality of life.
The Neuro Aid and Research Foundation remains committed to its mission of promoting health and wellness through knowledge, awareness, and community engagement.
